Using the formula A=lw find the area of the rectangle 4x^2 and 3x^4

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

A = lw Are 4x^2 and 3x^4 l and w?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

A = 4x^2 * 3x^4 Multiply the numbers together, and multply the x's together: A = 4*3 * x^2 * x^4 A = 12x^6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x^2 was at the top and 3x^4 was on the side so im guessing yes
