6x-5y=12 -3x+2y=9 can someone help me solve this?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Multiply the second equation by 2 on both sides, then add the two equations. You'll get an equation in 1 variable, which you can solve. When you do, use that value in either of the first equations to find the other variable.
