Who's in connections ENGLISH 11 A??? I need help with the last essay question. ASAP! I'm running out of time/:
what do you need help with it?
The very last essay question on the English 11 A semester exam..
Can you post it here?
Respond in a well-organized essay. Answer is written in complete sentences. (25 pts) 45. In the middle of the 19th century, political philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville claimed, "The inhabitants of the United States have...properly speaking, no literature." Based on what you learned this semester, is this statement accurate? Evaluate the contributions of two or more writers in this semester to the development of uniquely American literature. What genres, subjects, themes, settings, or characters did these writers develop? (25 points)
I apologize my computer crashed when I tried looking up what I wrote :((
Oh no/: That's alright
Basically what it is is saying is, in the 19th century people didn't believe Americans had talented writers, obviously this has changed, we have many telented writers now but its asking for your opinion on if this semester has changed that opinion or not for you
I'd look through authors we've gone over so you can include thier writings and such fora proper grade *hint hint* Mark Twain and Emily wingspaninson ;) to name a few
Who did you pick??
woah, definitely meant to type Emily wingspaninson*** that was weird
UGH IT DID IT AGAIN
I picked those two :)
did you mean Emily wingspaninson?
WHY does it make it wingspaninson?!?! D ickinson...
yes that's what I meant :) guess it just doesn't like that word
Haha I guess not. So could you just give me an example on how to start? I always have trouble staring then I seem to be okay.
The statement made by the politician, "The inhabitants of the United States have...properly speaking, no literature." in my opinion is greatly flawed.
Ok, I'll try and work off of that.. Thanks for the help. I hope I do okay..
You will don't worry :) I'm sorry I couldn't send what I wrote to give more of assistance :((( grrr
