Why did the Western Roman Empire fall explain why

The Roman empire declined for many reasons mainly economically and military wise, partly politically. These are ALL very important reasons and it is likely Roman rule could have continued if not for one another.

In general, I believe Rome's fall isn't relevant to us today. It did inflict upon the era known as the Middle Ages, but that is not linked to our modern society at all. It's just a fascinating topic to learn about, showing us the progression of technology and their attitudes, values and ideoligies.
