can someone please help me <3

i need help finding the values a and b

@jim_thompson5910

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Hint: The two parallel lines create same side interior angles that are supplementary so this means 36+a = 180 and 113+b = 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but there are some special cases where the interior angles that are supplementary do not add up to 180 degrees.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

maybe in a non-euclidean world, but by definition, if two angles are supplementary, then they add to 180 degrees

thanks jim
