Okay, easiest route to substitution is looking to see if any the variables have 1 as a coefficient. Looks like that is the case in the second equation, so rearrange it to be y = <something> and then substitute that for y in the first equation. You'll get an equation in terms of x, which you solve for x. Then use the value of x in the equation you produced for y = to get the value of y.
