simplify the rational expression : (x+1)/(x^3+1)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

the denominator is the sum of two cubes and can be factorised \[(a^3 + b^3) = (a +b)(a^2 - ab + b^2)\] when you factorise the denominator you will have a = x and b = 1 then there will be a common factor to cancel
