so forming an equation from the information

and letting x be the side of the exterior angle( the interior is 4x)

then 

x + 4x = 180

or 5x = 180

solve for x

the 2nd part will be to use the fact that the sum of all exterior angles in a polygon is 360 degrees

so to find the number of angles (sides) use

Number of sides = 360/x
