Do not try to mug even when the time is less.Just understand the basic concepts like gauss' law.Do not memorize those formulas which describe a particular situation.Try to derive it from the basic equations.Do not rote learn.It is worse than useless.It leads to actual mental injury.In case of maths,you need to practice.But don''t go for all the problems.Just solve the ones which look important to you.Solve previous year question papers.For math it is an excellent idea.Do it like this.I am assuming that you have enough knowledge to recognize which problem belongs to which chapter.Take the first problem.Think hard.Then go to the chapter to which the concept used in the problem belongs.Read it.Then do the problem.
