Write out the balanced equation for the reaction that occurs when Mg(OH)2 and HCl react together. You do not need to make your subscripts smaller; just write them out at regular numbers. For example: Mg(OH)2.

I believe that this is an ionic reaction and is just plus and minus. You should separate the polyatomic ions by charge to help better understand the product of the reaction. You should of learned them or memorized some of the elements and common polyatomic ions at this point since this is all it is asking you to do.
