I'll help you. In regards to question number 1, what is the difference in neutrality in the 20's and 30's? Well, It was politically neutral to a certain extent but it invested heavily in Germany during the 1920s. When the Wall Street crash happened in 1929 it called in all its loans to germany which once more threw the Germans into economic and social distress. This gave Hitler his big chance. At the outbreak of WW2 in September 1939 one third of Americans were of German descent and some of them joined Hitler's forces before America came into the war in December 1941. The German Americans took part in Hitler's last offensive in the West, The Battle of the Bulge in December 1944, when the American forces sustained their worst defeat of the war. The German Americans dressed in American uniforms and were able to penetrate the front line easily. Take what you will from that.
