what can be said about the sum of exterior angles of any polygon ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Easy. As you can see, "6x" angle and the "x+16" angle add up to 180. The same is true of the "5x" and "3x-1" angles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I just set them equal to 180 and solve?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, thank you!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh wait. I might be mistaken, if the line at the top isn't parallel with the line at the bottom.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are on the right track though. use the fact that exterior angles sum to 360

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm
