2w>-36 solve the inquality

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

w<-18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

always get w by itself. so what they did, was -36/2 to get w<-18. And it's flipped because you divided by a negative..

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

you divide by 2 to both sides to get w alone. If you multiply or divide you switch you symbol.

OpenStudy (nubeer):

divide both sides by 2 that gives the answer. and @ryan123345 your answer is not right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it said it was w>-18

OpenStudy (nubeer):

yes it's w>-18 @meggy @ryan123345 we didn't divided by any negative number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

opps sorry, yes you are correct, because we only divided by a Postive 2, so the signs are not flippes, that is correct!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a goood thing i had to two things so i didnt get it wrong i just flipped the sighn ;) lol :))
