OpenStudy (buggiethebug):

in the equation: f(x)= (-(x+a)(x-b)(x+c))/(x^2-2 ) when finding the x and y-intercepts do we consider the negative in front of the coefficient? or just ignore it and treat it as a reflection in the x-axis ?

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

Well, ignore the negative, find the intercept like you do in every other function. Y intercept when x=0 and x intercept when y=0
