if the line is x + 3y = 16 can you identify its slope? if so, note that the slope of any line perpendicular to it is the negative multiplicative inverse of it
i have no idea what im doing here, im just trying to finish my exam ._.
oh. well just find the slope of x + 3y = 16, then take the negative reciprocal of it. this will be the slope of the perpendicular line. and you already have a point on the perpendicular line of (-3, -4) that's all you need. you have a slope, and a point. that's enough to write a line
