A general way to solve the questions of the form
ax+by=c
bx+ay =d
First add the 2 equations :
(a+b) x + (a+b) y = (c+d)
----> x+y = (c+d)/(a+b) ---->(3)
Then, subtract the 2 equations,
(a-b) x + (b-a) y = (c-d)
---->x-y = (c-d)/(a-b) ---->(4)
now, from 3, and 4 ,
you have x+y and x-y, which is very easy to solve, can you ?
