Are you sure about that?  Why would the problem mention how many lessons you are going to take?  I think $375 is how much you have saved up so far, not the cost of the lessons.

Anyhow, find the total cost of flying lessons + introductory lesson.  That figure + the $75 you want for spending money is the the amount you need to get from the sum of your savings ($375) and what you earn typing papers.  The portion that you earn typing papers, divided by (40 pages/week * 9 weeks) is what you need to charge per page.
