How would you translate the graph of y=[x] to obtain the graph of y=[x-3]+5?

(x-3) means the graph is moved 3 units to the right (x+3) means the graph is moved 3 units to left easy way to remember is opposite, if it is - to right if it is + to the left

I would move it 3 to the right and up 5

+5 is vertical translation up -5 is vertical translation down.
