Write an equation of a line in slope-intercept form that is parallel to x + 4y = 6 and passes through the point (-8, 5) A. y=− 1 4 x+3 B. y=− 1 4 x+6.75 C. y = x - 13 D. y = x + 13
@kingspade2992 Can you find the slope of this equation? \[x+4y=6\]
I do not remember how to find the slope. That is my problem. I was able to do a few of the problems cause they were self explanatory but these ones are more complicated for me.
I have like 23 hours to do 2 1/2 units in geometry. I put it off and did not realize how complicated it was. I thought i could just fly through it, but I obviously was wrong.
Standard line equation in slope intercept form \[y=mx+x\] Can you convert the given equation to this form ?
I have no clue. I am stumped. I even looked up how to do it on good and I am still confuse.
x+4y=6 You have to solve this equation for y. Can u do it?@kingspade2992?
