Can someone help me use Geogebra? I need help and I'm doing it all wrong. D:
In a new GeoGebra window, go to the menu option entitled “Perspectives” at the top of the screen and select “Algebra & Graphics”. Then go to the menu option entitled "View". Select “Grid” to turn the gridlines on, and select “Algebra” to turn the Algebra window off since it is not needed. ^^I can't seem to find the Perspectives and Algebra & Graphics buttons
Which version of Geogebra are you using?
The regular version
oh for Algebra 2
There's no such thing as a regular version. There's Geogebra 1 thru 5 standalone. There's also the google embedded version. Which one are you using?
Geogebra 1? I think O.o
the one where it says DOWNLOAD webstart or applet n I chose applet version
Because I didn't want to download it to my computer
By the way, At the top, you will see a list of links: File, Edit, View, Options. Click the following: Options > Advanced > Preference (Graphics) > Grid
To change Algebra settings click View > Algebra
Hold on lemme look for that now and thx Hero you're a lifesaver! xD
Geogebra is one of my favorite math software to use. That being said, I don't know all the features, but there are many. It's not on Mathematica or Maple level yet though.
Question! After I click Grid do I check the tiny little box that says grid also or just close the extra window?
That depends on how your instructor wants you set things up. I'm not sure if I can answer that for you. I can help you navigate and tell you where things are, but that's about it.
Besides, it's better to explore the functionality on your own to figure out how it works.
Yea the sad part is I've struggling using this program for yrs xD n i still don't get it I usuallly fail any assignment that requires geogebra since idk how to use it yet
But thx you did help out alot!
Well, using it does require a level of interest. If you're not interested in the program, then it will be useless for you.
Yea, I at least have the first three steps right on my assignment xD So thank you for that!
Okay, well, good luck with it :D
Thanks :D
