which language is the best to learn as a com. scientist?
Depends... I had a tutorial on my personal preferences. http://www.tiobe.com/index.php/content/paperinfo/tpci/index.html Is the list of the most popular languages dating back like 30 years.... C has been widely used all over, but Java is what I am sticking with. It's used all over, and is super powerful. They are working on porting it FULLY to mobile, so we will be super happy.
C language is the simple & the best to start porg , of course if you wanna just start , & there is also C++ & java & delphi & python etc , but that's advanced level .
java will be better to work with . from my personal view it is more easy to work with java
python if u are a beginner. thats how i started. java & c if you have some background but python is really easy to start with compared to other languages
IMO, C is the most influential language in computer history. Most all languages have been derived and heavily influenced by C. C isn't the easiest language to learn, so I'd hesitate it as a first language. Java, although it carries some overhead in it's lexicon, is basically C syntax. Python has almost no overhead, but it's syntax isn't as straightforward when you transition to a C-based language. Interestingly, all the interpreted languages that I'm familiar with are actually implemented in C.
