Limit as x->5+ [sqrt(2x-1)-3]/(x-5)

use L'Hospital's rule. Take the derivatives of both [sqrt(2x-1)-3] and x-5 and divide them and find the new limes which of 1/sqrt(2x-1), put 5 in there and you get: 1/sqrt(10-1)=1/3
