Find the average value of the function f on the given interval. f(x)=√x on the interval [1,9] So far I've got ((2/24)√(x^3) |1to9)=? but I'm not sure how to finish the problem.

Since 9 can be rewritten as 3^2 the term 9^3/2 becomes 3^3 which is equal to 27.
