OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the solution to the proportion 3/m = 12/15 A. m = 2.4 B. m = 3.75 C. m = 4.5 D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D.m = 4.75

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Cross multiply to get: \[(3 \times 15) = (m \times 12)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (mertsj):

\[\frac{3}{m}=\frac{12}{15}\]

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Reduce the 12 over 15 first.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Then cross multiply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12m=45 then divide both sides by 12 and thats your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem, could you medal?

OpenStudy (abb0t):
