round to four decimal places tan 21
use the calculator.
type this in your calculator using the tangent function key.
dont have one
when rounding to 4 decimal places, u will have to look at the 5 decimal place and if it is 5 or greater than u will have to make the 4 decimal place increase by one. tan(21) = -1.52749 <<look at the fifth decimal place it is greater than 5 so u will have to increase the 4 by 1, now what will it be?
i understand know but that is none of my answers that i can choose from
well that is weird because that is the correct answer.
and u will definitely have to use ur calculator for this question because it would be almost impossible doing it by hand, it probably can be solved by hand but will be really complex.
and saying round off to 4 decimal places gives us the hint that u are allowed to use ur calculator.
i can eather choose: A 0.3584 B 2.7904,C 0.9336 or D 0.3839 these are my options
yes i can use one but i dont have a calculator that can solve theses types of problems
in google just type in calculate tan(21) and it does it for u.
and that is proof that the either the options are wrong or the question is.
but the question seems fine in this case, just that they provided the wrong options.
