Find the midpoint of the line segment whose endpoints are (0,1/2 ) and (0,3/4 )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

think about out it.. to find the midpoint of a line from 0 to 4, you add 0 to for and devide by two.. In this case, do the same for both x and y coorinates from the endpoints

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x2-x1)/2,(y2-y1)/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tomo, that makes no sence.. why would you take the diffence between the two and devide them? In a linear line, the midpoint should lay at the average..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, my bad. mistype.
