evaluate the integral ∫(1t^3e^t)dt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Integration by parts!! btw is that 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that is a 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then it doesnt matter. If you know integration by parts, take t^3 as u and e^t as your dv. problem solved!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got t^3e^t-3∫(t^2e^t)dt. Does that mean i have to do another integration by parts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, probably twice. If you know the tabular method, this would be a good place to use it as t^3 would eventual get to 0
