x y 0 4.20 1 6.72 2 10.75 3 17.20 what is the formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is this all the information you have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Than I'm sorry, short of drawing the graph and making an equation from the graph.. Which doesn't really seem like the point..

can u answer my new one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or explain how you solved this one?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

|dw:1359162629430:dw| im not sure if its a parabola are an exponential ,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exponential

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd say exponential as well but should the difference of the difference between each step be equal in an exponential equation..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is equal. .625

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you get to 0,625?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4.2/6.72

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6.72/10.75

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's not what I mean with the difference of the difference but I'm not sure if that was needed for the exponential funtion.. I tend to mix them up.. Anyway, I don't see any nice formula either, however the fact that deviding each point by the previous leads to equal values seems like something to work with..
