a a

m/gradient/slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) (0,4) (1.25,0) x1,y1 x2,y2 plug in formula and solve. m=...................

Try it yourself, I have told u what to do and given u all the information needed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is ur option A meant to be -1/5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because another person had the exact same question as u but they had option -1/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if that really is the option then, the closest answer will be B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but that's positive...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the line is sloping downwards so it is negative.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

woops I meant the answer is meant to be -3.2

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Count the squares. From (0,4) go down 3 square and to the right 1 square and you are back on the line. down 3 = -3 right 1 = +1 -3 over +1=-3 and that is the slope of your line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you have plugged in the values into the formula correctly from what I've give u, u get -3.2 so the closest answer is -3 and that will be correct.
