Write the slope intercept fprm of each equation of each line? -20-4y=-2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Slope intercept form is given as y = mx + b. Try and get the "y" terms on one side and the "x" term and the constant on the other side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-4y = -2x + 20\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So that's almost it but we need "y" not "-4y". Therefore we can divide both sides of the equation by -4.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y = 0.5x -5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you :)

No problem

No problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-4Y =-2X +20\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you just transform it into y=mx+b so y=(-2x+20)/4
