If mBY = 38, what is m YAC?

Since the arc BY is 38, that is the same measure as angle BOY. That makes the measure of angle BAY half of BOY, so BAY is 19.

AC is tangent to the circle, so angle BAC is 90.

Angle YAC is YAB and BAC, so YAC is 19 + 90 = 109.
