What is the slope and y-intercept of the graph of 3x + 2y = 12? slope =-3/2 ; y-intercept = (0, 6) slope = -3; y-intercept = (0, 12) slope =-2/3 ; y-intercept = (0, 6) slope = 6; y-intercept = (0,-3/2 )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have you tried it, have an idea of what you're supposed to do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find y-intercept make x=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope = -3; y-intercept = (0, 12)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it should end up 2y=12 so you just divide 12 by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the slope, take the original equation, move x to the other side, so 2y=-3x+12 and then divide by two
