What is the slope between the two points (8, 15) and (3, 5)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the slope formula to find the slope of a line between two points: slope = \(\large m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} \) where \(\large (x_1,y_1) \) and \(\large (x_2,y_2) \) are the points

1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats not the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because the difference in y's need to be the numerator and the difference in x's is the denominator... you have that fraction reversed....

-1/2
