Animals who eat the same food are categorized in the same niche. True or False?
Two different species of animals would not be able to be a part of the same niche. The question asks us about food. Food is a resource. And if two different species of animals compete with one another for the same resource, then eventually, one species will out-do the other.
@Jezz007 Sorry, I came back here and realized that I misread the question. The question didn't mention anything about different animals occupying in the same niche. I still think it would be False, though. A "niche" is an organism's role, in the ecosystem. It's about much more than just the kind of food that it eats. An organism's "niche" is every way that it affects the environment. For example, part of a beaver's niche would be that it builds dams.
Thanks bro
