A,B, and C are vectors: (x,y,z all have hats) A = x +2y -3z B = 2x - 4y +0z C = 0x +2y - 4z The question asks for x(hat) X B, not sure exactly what it is after. I can do a cross product no problem but I am not sure how to find x(hat), its not (1,2,0). Any ideas?

x(hat) is (1,0,0).... its a unit vector in the x direction.... try dat and see if u get the right answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why? Is that by definition? So is y(hat) = (0,1,0)? Thanks Tushara.

yes im pretty sure that is wat u have to do, but see if u get the right answer

Looks like thats it. Thanks!
