OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok

OpenStudy (koikkara):

From wat i studied....The 'effects" were: 1. death for many Native Americans 2. loss of native farms and developed property as of "The Five Civilized nations" 3. new farmlands for the white Americans 4. "peace" from the Atlantic shore to the Mississippi river. 5. poverty and doom for the relocated peoples 6. poverty and few options in Oklahoma for over 100 years. This is not viewed as "ancient history" by Native Americans, it was as 'evil" as slavery and as destructive. Be assured that they walked to Oklahoma, every mile. No railroads.
