OpenStudy (needhelpp101):

.) Solve the system of equations graphically. If the system does not have a single ordered pair as a solution, state whether the system is inconsistent of dependent. 9x - 2y = 30 5x + 4/3 y = 24 A.(4, 3) B. (3, 1) C. (4,- 3) D. (3, 4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's the equation on the right side of the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, its two separate equations: \[9x-2y = 30\]\[5x+(4/3)y = \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=24

OpenStudy (needhelpp101):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you reviewed elimination or substitution in your class?

OpenStudy (needhelpp101):

I don't have a class it's online

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Easiest way to do this is elimination or graphing.

OpenStudy (needhelpp101):

I link the Graphs for you to see :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says solve it graphically.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sketch the lines on a number plane and find the point where they intersect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah my bad. Have you tried graphing these equations? When you do so, the point that both lines intersect at is your answer.

OpenStudy (needhelpp101):

k Azteck and no Hsrikako ill try :S
