depends on wether the two equations produce the same line or not. But for most cases this is true because the lines are parallel (unless it's like the case in my first sentence)

lines with the same slopes means they are parallel. there are two cases 1) no solution is possible 2) infinitely many solutions possible when both lines have same equations
