Solve the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ x-8 }{ 3 }=12\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First you would multiply everything by 3 giving you x-8=36, then you would add 8 to both sides which would leave you with x=44. I hope that helps @thatgirl666
