Two triangles are similar if they share the same set of vertex angles. What we must do is find the third angle of both of these triangles and then compare them. So for the first triangle we know that the total sum of all interior angles should be 180 degrees so we add the two angles we are given and subtract that from 180 to find the measure of the third angle: 180-(60+53)= 180 - 113 = 67. We repeat this process to find the third angle of the 2nd triangle 180-(60+67) = 180-(127)= 53. We see that both triangles share the same interior angles and are therefore similar
