How do the graphs of y =1/x and y =5/x+6 compare?

If you vertically stretch 1/x by a factor of 5, you will get 5/x now if you shift the entire graph of 5/x six units to the left, you will get 5/(x+6)

so they are the same basic shape, one is just stretched a bit and moved over
