OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

Four points are placed on a circle. How many segments will it take to connect each point to every other point?

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

i think the answer is D

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

The first point needs 3 lines to connect to the other 3. The second point needs 2 lines to connect to the other 2, there's already a line connecting to the first point. The third point needs 1 line to connect to the last point, there are already lines connecting it to the previous 2 points. 3+2+1 = 6. Try drawing it yourself and number the lines as you draw them.

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

CAN U DRAW AND EXPLAIN @whpalmer4

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

I M NOT SURE

Directrix (directrix):

I agree with six. You can draw them. First, a square or quadrilateral, then the two diagonals. 4 + 2 = 6
