elenas daughter sold 23 boxes of girl scout cookies. she was told that this amount represented 10% of the troops sale. how many boxes did the troop sell?
see if the troop sold x boxes then 10% of x =23...k?
how do i find out how many they sold though?
assuming the troop sold some X number of boxes..ok... then 10% OF X=23?
i still dont get it
i think elexusvanderhorst is asking u about the 10%... is that [part u dnt understand honey
Elena's daughter was told that the number of boxes she sold is 10% of the total number of boxes sold?
k?
i feel so stupid because i am not getting anything your saying
dont worry....suppose u have a cake now u cut 1/2 of the cake how much cake do you have left?
i dont know how to figure this stuff out?
let x= total sold by the troop 10%=.10 10%=1/10 let's use the fraction (1/10)*x=23 multiply by 10(both sides) x=230 boxes of expensive girl scout cookies does that help?
