given the function f(x)=-2x^2+4x+3 list the y-intercept if there is one of the graph of f

the y-intercept is the x value(s) for which the function f(x)=0. Have you learned how to factor equations? if so, factor the left side of -2x^2+4x+3=0 to get your zeros. If you haven't factored, maybe you've seen the quadratic equation? This will also give the roots (which are the x values of the y-intercept(s)).
