What is the total value in cents, of coins in your pocket? If n is the # of nickels in your pocket and d is the # of dimes in your pocket? I got 5n +10n? Is this correct? Please and thank you.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

n = nickels d = dimes .05n + .10d

zepdrix (zepdrix):

If we were measuring in dollars, then yes `.05n+.10d` would be the way we want to value the coins. But since we're measuring in cents, you have the right idea kitsune with the whole numbers :)

Thank y'all.
