Question

i have a question about overhanging cards. suppose we have a deck of cards, I move the first card forward pass the other cards up to the point for which it won't fall. Now I move the second card with the first card on top of that forward, until the combined two cards wont fall over . continuing, move the third card, etc. im confused because the book says 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/6 ... of a card length . i think this is a center of gravity problem as well
