If I have a cake that is a rectangle. I need to take out a rectangular piece anywhere but can not touch any of the sides, how can I divide the cake in half with one cut?

but how can I just cut it in the middle with the rectangular piece already out of it and then cut it in half equally with one cut?

You would need to know how long the sides were and such to know how much 'half' is.
