Could someone help me with this. I don't understand this part of geometry. In the center of town, there is a square park with side length of 30 ft. If a person walks from one corner of the park to the opposite corner, how far does the person walk? Round to the nearest foot. A. 21 ft B. 42 ft C. 52 ft D. 60 ft

So you would have that a=b \[a ^{2} +b^{2} = c^{2}\] so then \[30 ^{2} +30^{2} = c^{2}\] \[=1800^{2}\] \[\sqrt{1800}\] = 42.426
