The moon and the sun both have a part in the changing of the tides, but the moon has more affect on the tides because it is almost 400 times closer to earththen the sun.The sun and the moon are constantly puling on mass on the earths surface, since we are mass we are getting pulled alittle bit but because me are very little mass and we are close to the earth it does not affect us as much as the ocean. The moon pulls the water that is closest to it which conbinded with the earths rotation make the tides.
can someone plz spell check this?
