Simplify the expression. sqrt169 I put 13^2=169 13*13=169 This is wrong teacher wrote back said to simplify this expression you must find the value of the square root. I guess I'm over looking it but I can't find it in my book.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

\(\sqrt{169} = \sqrt{13^{2}} = 13\) You correctly recognized 13 as the square root of 169, but then you made up your own problem statement.
